Georgia’s key SEC East game against Tennessee will begin at 3:30 p.m. ET on Oct. 1, UGA announced Monday. CBS will televise the game.

The Bulldogs and Volunteers each have a big game leading into their showdown in Athens. Georgia plays at Ole Miss at noon Saturday on ESPN. Later that day, Tennessee plays host to Florida at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.

Last season, Georgia lost 38-31 in Knoxville despite leading 24-3 with slightly more than a minute to play in the second quarter. Two late second-quarter touchdowns gave Tennessee momentum that it used to overcome the Bulldogs in the second half.
